Walnut Balls



Crisp cookies with chopped nuts for a novelty texture, these walnut balls are perfect coffee or tea tempters. Two or three pieces, a nice cup of chai tea and a book…truly a relaxing end to a hectic day!

Walnut Balls

Makes 2 Dozens

1 cup soft margarine
1/2 cup granulated sugar
2 1/2 cups sifted flour
1 cup nuts of choice, chopped
1 tsp vanilla

Combine ingredients.
Make into balls. Bake at 350 F for 25 minutes.
While warm, roll in powdered sugar

TIPS:
1) Pecans, hazeluts, and almonds are other good nut choices.
2) Pre-sifted flour are available in most grocery shops, with no significant price difference. Less work and less mess.
